Begin 2012 with a strategy for improved efficiency and cost reduction.
This professional workshop series is intended as an introduction to the Lean Enterprise Model of Continuous Improvement which has been proven highly effective in eliminating waste and reducing costs in organizations ranging from manufacturing and service industries to healthcare, financial, and not-for-profit enterprises.
Management and supervisory staff, corporate teams, individual professionals, and students desiring an essential working knowledge of the Lean process are encouraged to attend. Participant benefits include:

This series consists of eight, three-hour essential learning modules:
- Introduction/Evolution of Lean, Value Added, and Non-Value Added Activities
- Simulation- Lean vs. Traditional Process Steps
- The 5S system and Visual Controls
- Traditional "Push" vs. "Pull" (Kanban) Systems and One-Piece Flow
- Theory of Constraints (TOC)/ Bottleneck Management
- Set-up Reduction/ SMED and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Quality Management Systems (QMS), Poka-yoke, Metrics, and Essential Problem Solving Tools
- Value Stream Mapping, Improvement Project Selection, and Management
Cost: $950*
*There is a ten percent discount for companies registering three or more students. Cost includes course workbook and certificate of completion
