Deborah K. Richman

Deborah K. Richman is a leading businesses-woman in the fragrance industry.

Deborah began her career working for 3M (Minnesota, Manufacturing Mining), a Fortune 500 Company, as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative. In her 12 year tenure there, she worked her way up to become Director of Sales and Marketing for the Personal Care Products division. In this role, she was recognized for assisting with the development of the innovative Buf-Puf Brand, Post It Notes, Scent Strips Encapsulated Technology, First Aid Products, and dozens of other successful brands.

 Her knowledge and experience gained at 3M inspired Deborah to embark on an entrepreneurial path where she has been responsible for founding numerous successful beauty companies. These included; Emerge Cosmetics and Deborah International Beauty, which, at its peak, held a 40% share in the alternative designer fragrance market.

Currently, Deborah is the President and CEO of DK USA, Ltd. which owns the “Lady in Red” brand. DK USA has become a leader in creating private label and branded products in fragrance, personal care and beauty.

 A long time beauty pioneer, Deborah has brought dozens of products to market from concept to retail. Deborah has been recognized and honored by the Fragrance Foundation for creating top selling mass retail brands, and has authored many trade articles as a fragrance expert.

 Deborah’s success is a combination of applying focus, passion, integrity and good “old fashioned” business sense. Her innovative concepts and ability to think “outside the box” has resulted in a personal and financial success story.

Deborah holds a Bachelors and Master of Science Degree in Psychology from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Deborah is also an active member of her community and is a strong supporter of Mt. Sinai Hospital, the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and Women’s Voice for Change.
